I am please to be informing you that SailSmart (Experiential Program for Children Developed by SingaporeSailing) is recruiting Instructors who are young, dynamic, and passionate about the outdoors and love working with children! We would like to extend the invitation to all your members in the clubs and invite you down for our recruitment talk held on the 25th July 2009. More details about the Recruitment Talk is available below.

SailSmart Instructors Recruitment Drive
Date: Saturday, 25 July 2009
Time: 1.30pm to 2.30pm
Venue: National Sailing Centre, 1500 East Coast Parkway
Sailing provides excellent life training for young people.
It requires them to think critically, applying skills they have learnt with an understanding of the environment, weather, tides and water safety.
It also develops character, and important life-skills such as leadership, teamwork, and decision-making in a hands-on environment.
Be part of the team to groom these young people!
We are searching for coaches and coaching assistants who wish to impart their knowledge and experiences using our new approach to inspire a new generation of thinking sailors.
Even you know nothing about sailing but are keen to learn and love interacting with kids, you are invited to join us on the 25 July 2009 for a presentation on the SailSmart programme and its recruitment requirements.
We will cover the following:
- What is SailSmart all about?
- What is in SailSmart? (Curriculum)
- What is the duration of the programme? (Time)
- How many students in a class? (Ratio)
- Where is SailSmart going to be conducted? (Location)
- Why are we doing this? (Mission)
- How does SailSmart fit into the current system?
- What are the requirements to be part of the programme? (Qualification)
- What will you be getting? (Pay)
- What is your commitment?
