Since 2000, Heartware Network has been supporting the National Day Parade Executive Committee (NDP EXCO) in training and managing a group of volunteers to assist during the yearly National Day Parade (NDP). Now in the 13th year of cooperation with NDP EXCO, we are once again recruiting and training 550 volunteers to help out not only during the actual parade itself, but also during the combined rehearsal, 3 NE shows and the Preview as part of the hospitality team for this year’s parade.
Through the whole project, we hope to:
1. Inspire the youths to realize that they can make a difference in our society
2. Equip the volunteers with skills such as public speaking, leadership skills, people management and other interpersonal skills
3. Provide an opportunity for youths to be a part of an important national event, the iconic National Day Parade!
